Relaxing Yoga Nidra with Intention Setting

Relaxing Yoga Nidra with Intention Setting

I recorded this for my sister, to help her fall asleep. It includes intention setting at the beginning. Try not to think about your intention, simply notice if something comes to mind.

Intentions ideally are simple, like happiness - I am happy, I feel happy. When nothing shows up for me I usually use happiness or healing.

I hope the meditation helps you sleep.

Evening Firelight

A guided meditation to help you relax and drift off to sleep. A Rotation of Consciousness/ Body Scan is followed by images of being in nature, relaxing, and sleeping deeply. The final words are "Rest here for as long as you need." Get comfortable, listen, and let go.

For my friend Jack who loved the simple beauties of life.

Waves of Breath Guided Relaxation

Waves of Breath

Focused on deep relaxation and stress relief, this is a good one to help you fall asleep. It begins with settling in, observing how you are, sankalpa/ intention setting, and a body scan/ rotation of consciousness.

It then moves to relaxing visualizations connecting breath and imaginary waves, your body being warmed and relaxed by the sun, and you feeling happy and relaxed. It finishes with a simple “Namaste”.
